Q: What payment methods do you accept? A: We prefer credit or debit but we do accept cash. We do not take Apple/Android pay. Q: What is the "environmental recovery fee"? A: This fee is used to fund the HHW program for the city of Lee's Summit. This fee is not used to make a profit. Q: Is the PDA muddy? A: All paths in and out of the PDA have gravel/asphalt and are not muddy. Q: Will I have help unloading? A: Yes! We will always have at least one laborer there to help you unload. Q: Did PDA rates change with the closing of the landfill? A: Yes, materials will now be transported off site to a different landfill. Any increases in cost are simply to offset the costs of additional transportation. Q: Do you recycle things? A: Yes! We divert as much as possible.
